Fieldwork opportunities

Healthy CUNY provides fieldwork opportunities, doctoral research fellowships and masters level practicum placements. These opportunities are both research and intervention focused. Under the supervision of Healthy CUNY faculty and staff, students gain knowledge and skills in public health research, policy and data analysis, program design and health advocacy.

In addition, Healthy CUNY partners with CUNY Service Corps and CUNY Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) to provide opportunities for undergraduate students to explore careers in public health and gain valuable job skills. Students can apply directly to these programs and eligible students may be matched for a field placement with Healthy CUNY.
